New USP Standards 100 Seminar Dates Announced
Specialist training in the use of USP-NF (the United States Pharmacopoeia and National Formulary) is being provided in two seminars during October 2003 organised by LGC Promochem.
Chemical and microbiological testing underpin laboratory-based food quality assurance processes and the results of these analyses help ensure that food contents meet labelling requirements and that food is fit for consumption.
Reference materials and biological standards play a vital role in ensuring the accuracy and validity of the analytical results, which are so crucial in assuring consumers of product quality and safety - standards are used to calibrate equipment, while matrix materials are required to prove that a method is valid and ensure consistent results.
