This package will literally work "out of the box": turn on the power and you're ready to input data! The package includes two pre-installed programs.
The first program generates X Bar and R charts: the two control charts that are most powerful for helping diagnose production problems.
The program has all the factors stored: A2, d2, D3, D4, for a sample size of up to 25 observations.
All you have to do is enter the raw data! The second pre-installed program generates process capability data: Cp, CpK and projected failure rates above and below specification limits.
One of this program's many useful features for the engineer is the ability to "reverse engineer": to specify the allowable defective rate for the process (in Cp, PPM, percentage or Sigma), and, given the sample data, this program then calculates the corresponding specification limits.
Both programs automatically create graphical representations of the results.
Charts and data may be saved to PC (with the included cable and software).
