Bulletin describes benefits of 1000A SAW inverter

A Lincoln Electric Company, The product story
Edited by the Manufacturingtalk editorial team May 30, 2005

What is claimed to be the first and only 1000A inverter designed for AC/DC submerged arc welding can increase productivity, lower operating costs and improve welding quality.

The Lincoln Electric Company offers a new literature bulletin on the first and only 1000A inverter designed for AC/DC submerged arc welding - the Power Wave AC/DC 1000.

The brochure highlights how the unit can increase productivity, lower operating costs, improve quality and provide greater production flexibility for applications such as pipe mill welding, pressure vessels or structural steel fabrication.

The brochure, offered at no cost, provides illustrations and quick, bulleted facts regarding the attributes of the Power Wave AC/DC 1000.

As the first power source to introduce Lincoln's Waveform Control Technology to submerged arc welding, the literature details the 1000A unit's unprecedented control over wave frequency, balance and amplitude (DC offset), as well as phase relationship in multi-arc applications.

In addition, the Power Wave communicates quickly and reliably with other welding system components using Lincoln's ArcLink digital communications protocol and can source remote Production Monitoring capability using Ethernet connections at the workstation, at your desk or around the world via the Internet.

* About Lincoln Electric - Lincoln Electric is the world leader in the design, development and manufacture of arc welding products, robotic arc-welding systems, plasma and oxyfuel cutting equipment.
