Lincoln Electric has improved its popular Blue Max 2000 flux, enhanced for the welding of stainless steels and nickel alloys.

Lincoln Electric has improved its popular Blue Max 2000 flux For use in submerged-arc applications, this neutral, basic flux is designed specifically for welding stainless steel and nickel alloys and is compatible with either AC or DC in single- and multiple-arc applications

Blue Max 2000 has been further enhanced for the welding of stainless steels and nickel alloys.

Most notably its distinctive blue color has been transformed to white, similar to Blue Max 3000 and 4000.

Simultaneously, its performance has been enhanced to improve bead placement, appearance and geometry when welding in the 3G position and to reduce the trend towards "snaking" across all heat input ranges, and particularly at very low heat inputs.

(Snaking is an industry term for side-to-side meandering by the weld, usually attributed to wire feed problems.) Blue Max is also ISO 9001 and 14001 certified, meaning it has been manufactured to the highest standards for environmental and quality management.

Blue Max 2000 is lot-controlled and lot-tested to guarantee optimal product performance and quality.
