Power source is true multi-process welding unit
Multi-process arc welding power source supports MMA, TIG, MIG and flux-cored GMAW as well as advanced processes like pulsed MIG, 'Pulse-on-Pulse' and 'Power Mode'.
Generator set offers smooth arc welding
Housed in a compact, corrosion-resistant SS case, a 300A welding generator set has 'Chopper Technology' to deliver efficient starts and a smooth arc for general welding.
The operator is given ultimate control over weld processes from simple stick (MMA) mode and basic TIG to AC/DC pulesed-TIG.
One knob controls the LCD screen allowing the user to scroll through each setting.
More complicated controls, such as AC frequency, are now readily viewable,s aid Lincoln, and, for example, show how the arc is affected when parameters are changed or adjusted.

Other advantages of the Lincoln Electric Invertec V310-T include the following.
* Increased portability with its lighter weight (80% less than a conventional TIG machine), less space requirements (75% the size of a conventional machine) and an auto reconnect and simplified installation.
* Lower operating costs with decreased power consumption, higher power factor and lower current draw because Inverter technology uses less power and draws up to 70% less current than a conventional machine, resulting in smaller input conductor and fuse sizes.
* Optional inclusion of a 'smart' water cooler system, which digitally controls the speed of the water cooler's three-phase pump motor based on coolant temperature for quiet operation and long, dependable life.
* Detailed set-up menu with the ability to customise the machine through enabling optional controls like a spot timer, choosing English, Spanish or French, and adjusting factory default parameters and more.
The Invertec V310-T also allows users to customise the arc through its adjustable AC frequency and selectable waveshapes.
Lincoln told manufacturingtalk that through the machine's 'soft', 'crisp' and AC stick modes, it provides exceptional welding performance on all electrodes.
* Inverter technology - the machine's inverter technology provides excellent welding performance with adjustable AC frequency, expanded AC balance control, selectable AC wave shapes and high-speed DC TIG pulsing.
Inverter technology translates into quieter operation due to less radiated high frequency noise and interference, said Lincoln.
* About Lincoln - The Lincoln Electric Company, headquartered in Cleveland, Ohio, USA, is the world leader in the design, development and manufacture of arc welding products, robotic arc-welding systems, plasma-arc and oxy-fuel gas cutting equipment and has a leading global position in the brazing and soldering alloys market.
