Explosion-proof hoisting equipment

A Lifting Solutions product story
Edited by the Manufacturingtalk editorial team May 18, 2007

Lifting Solutions has introduced hoisting equipment compliant with the European Directive 99/92/EC for explosive atmospheres.

Lifting Solutions is making sure its existing and prospective customers are fully compliant with EU regulations relating to explosive atmospheres, and can avoid falling foul of the law.

Installations running in explosive atmospheres must now comply with European Directive 99/92/EC.

All hoisting equipment on production sites will have to be ATEX-certified, or covered by a risk analysis, and the equipment concerned be brought into compliance.

Lifting Solutions' managing director, Jonathan Moorhouse, said: "For some time now we have been embarking on an expansion and diversification strategy, and recently tied up a major partnership with French manufacturer Verlinde as part of this strategy.

"The addition of the Verlinde ATEX range makes us a one-stop-shop ensuring that your complete site is in compliance with these new European requirements relating to explosive environments.

By opting for a Verlinde branded product from Lifting Solutions, you will have the peace of mind that you have the highest quality branded product backed by one of the world's premier names in lifting and handling.

Being compliant is not only the law, it also demonstrates best practise and illustrates a company's commitment to operating the optimum site safety regime.
