Handling/lifting supplier adds on machine shop
Supplier of lifting, handling and cranage equipment has added on its own machine shop to produce its own pins, bushes, pulleys, gear blanks and pinion shafts.
Its product range will include (but will not be restricted to) balustrades, Juliet balconies, and other aesthetic steelwork projects - in a range of finishes including stainless steel and stainless wire rope swaged products - for new developments and refurbishments in particular.
Jonathan Moorhouse, Lifting Solutions' managing director, explained: "Lifting Solutions launched a swaged products range a couple of years ago to meet the increasing demand by architects, specifiers, planners, building contractors, quantity surveyors and even private individuals.
People are much more design conscious nowadays, both at home and at work, and there is much more opportunity to supply one-off and short-run items requiring a higher level of architectural design awareness, sophistication and manufacturing skills.
We will be marketing our products and services to hotels, shopping malls, marinas, and main building contractors as well as to any decision makers like planning departments with an influence over the buying process for architectural steel products.
The incorporation of Creative Steel Solutions will allow us to market these new architectural steel products and services most effectively, whilst at the same time allowing Lifting Solutions to concentrate on its core business which is the fabrication, supply, installation and maintenance of specialist lifting equipment.".
