Appointments designed to optimise
deliveries
To optimise the delivery of new products to customers the LK Board is pleased to announce a number of appointments.
Over the past four years, LK Group has successfully completed an exercise to focus on the company's established core metrology competencies in the areas of machines, controllers, sensors, software, and service This has led to the introduction of more new products than ever before in LK's history

The next phase of development is to optimise the delivery of this expertise to customers.
The LK Board is therefore pleased to announce the following appointments: Roland Denning joined LK as Executive Chairman on 1st December 2004.
He has had an extensive worldwide commercial career, including posts at Unilever, Jardine Matheson in Hong Kong, and as Executive Director at Sears Plc.
Denning has chaired 15 successful private equity investments.
Charlie Edgington has been promoted from Software Business Director to Chief Executive Officer for the UK/Rest of the World organisation.
Edgington has a strong background in commercial development of high technology businesses in the automotive, industrial, and aerospace sectors.
Among his recent achievements is the commercial development of an automotive embedded software company, (now part of Robert Bosch), where he served as CEO.
Tony O'Sullivan formerly Customer Services Director, has been appointed to the new position of Sales and Service Director for global markets except North America.
This follows amalgamation of the sales and customer support functions at LK's UK headquarters, designed to enhance the company's continuing endeavour to focus on their customers and to deliver complete measurement solutions to worldwide industries.
O'Sullivan has 18 years' experience in co-ordinate measurement, following his time in the machine tool and automation industries.
His career took him from the service sector into sales when he joined LK in 1990 and he is now responsible for business development in the UK and Europe.
LK is an international leader in the manufacture of co-ordinate measuring machines and the development of associated metrology software and services, with over 2,000 installations in 40 countries.
