Materials test data exported to SQL database
An export utility has been added to materials test and control software to allow the automatic export of data from a materials tests run to an SQL database.
Once an MDI canister is loaded into the jig, the user simply pushes the start button on the detector unit to start the test.
Once complete, results are automatically recorded for analysis and reporting.
For operator protection, a PVC shield is fitted with an automatic lock mechanism that must be engaged.
For large scale tests, the software includes a Batch Tester utility.
Ondio Application Builder Software, also included, is used to create individual test set-ups.
New Nexygen MT v4.5 software offers full control of the instrument, with detailed analysis of results and flexible reporting.
New security features on version 4.5 now mean operators must login at all times.
Audit tracking is now possible since all details of user logins and logouts, and every modification or action conducted on each test are recorded in full.
Automatic saving and archiving ensures no data is ever lost, and report print outs now include the data, time, user ID, system ID, location ID or other supervisor defined parameter.
The MDI Test System is already being installed in the quality operations of leading pharmaceutical companies.
Versatility means this system is adaptable to suit a particular testing requirement.
MDIs are one of the most sophisticated and complicated drug delivery systems.
Typically, they are aerosol dispensers consisting of a metal or glass container with a valve assembly and actuator.
Administering the correct dosage of drugs is of paramount importance to any pharmaceutical company, as well as the patient.
Incorrect firing or valve breakdown could lead to 'continuous streaming' of drug delivery.
Testing the delivery mechanism is just one of many factors that must be checked during production, which is made easy with the new MDI Test system.
