A Lloyd Instruments product story
Edited by the Manufacturingtalk editorial team Nov 16, 2007

Materials testing machine builder, Lloyds Instruments, recorded 30% increase in sales leads at K-2007 plastics exhibition in Germany, compared with 2004.

One of the world's leading manufacturers of materials testing equipment, Lloyd Instruments, said that the K-2007 show held in Dusseldorf, Germany, was a resounding success.

The company had launched its Davenport MVPlus Melt Viscometer for PET testing at the show.

The compact MVPlus uses a unique solvent-free method for the measurement of intrinsic viscosity (IV) of PET, and is available in stand-alone or computer-controlled versions.

Managing Director of Lloyd Instruments, David Greer, said: "We were delighted with this year's K Show and there was a lot of interest in the new MVPlus instrument.

We have always been pleased with the number of visitors to our stand, but this year our lead level was up by more than 30% on 2004.

Not only that, the truly international nature of the show was reflected in the fact that we had visitors from 77 countries.

Overall we found that the greatest interest for our products came from the QC sector.
