Semi-automatic rig tests inhaler firing mechanisms
A semi-automated solution to test the firing mechanisms of pharmaceutical 'one shot' pressurised metered dose inhaler canisters is believed to be the first of its type developed.
NEXYGENPlus may be used with any of the company's 'Plus' range of materials testing machines (1kN-150kN).
* Easy configuration - the front end of the export utility is displayed in NEXYGENPlus format, making it extremely easy to configure.
The utility can either be run manually, to configure the system, or as an ActiveX to automatically transfer data at the end of the test.
NEXYGENPlus may be password protected to only allow authorised users to perform tests and export data to the SQL database.
The utility reads in both the data fields from the SQL database and the NEXYGENPlus results file and allows each field to be matched for data transfer.
In this way there can be no data entry errors in transferring the data.
The utility automatically checks which results are required by the SQL database, reformats this data as required and then transfers it to the database.
Original test results from the materials testing machine are acquired either using international standards such as ASTM, DIN, EN and ISO from the extensive library of pre-defined tests supplied with NEXYGENPlus or by using the program's versatile facility to create user-specified tests.
