Tablet counter set to handle all shapes and sizes
Better count accuracy is now available to companies packing tablets and capsules into pots or jars following the introduction of a new combined tablet counting and checkweighing unit by Collischan.
The line can be further automated with the addition of a bottle unscrambler and take-off conveyor.
With an operating speed of 30 to 35 containers a minute this highly flexible line is ideal for clinical trial operations as well as for contract packers handling a wide range of different products.
It is also very compact at under 3 metres in length, enabling it to be accommodated in production areas where space is at a premium.
In addition to the tablet counting unit the line can be equipped with a powder or liquid filler or combinations of filling systems.
Keith Gooch, Managing Director of Logic TPS says, "The Zellweg line is not only very compact, it is extremely price competitive when compared to other systems providing a similar output".
"The fact that it can be changed from one size to another in under 2 minutes, without the need for change parts also means production time is maximised.".
