Scan cameras are highly compact
Smallest model of a series of cased progressive scan cameras measures only 29x29x29mm, and comes in standard and megapixel resolution in colour or monochrome.
The Pacific Corporation is Japan's leading manufacturer of board mounted CCD cameras and has recently released a range of cased progressive scan cameras using the technologies which have made the company pre-eminent in its field.
The range of cameras are now being made available in the UK by Lambda Photometrics.
The range includes six series of cased cameras and are available both in monochrome and colour with a seventh series offering a miniature camera and separate controller.
Both standard and high resolution products are included in the Pacific Corporation range.
External synchronisation and trigger are provided as standard as is electronic shuttering with ranges variable from 80msec to 50 microsec depending on the model.
Frame rates vary from 12 to 60 frames per second with field or frame output options.
The smallest model measures only 29x29x29mm, and comes in standard and megapixel resolution.
The CL series of cameras feature a CameraLink output, as does a recently introduced small B/W camera which also features a photo sensor with square pixels.
The systems using separate heads and controllers utilise a camera head with dimension of 44x29x45mm and analogue or digital RGB output options.
A range of B/W interlaced CCD cameras are also available.
The VCC range incorporates ExView HAD CCD's which utilise the near infrared region to enable excellent low light imaging.
