One off-line system controls punches, profilers
The flexibility of transferring parts between machine tools attracted a laser profiling company to use one CADCAM system for a variety of punching and profiling machines.
* The speed of simulation can be modified with keys.
* The X and Y head or turret coordinates are simulated.
* The operation is displayed (mark, cut, rapid,).
* CUT: The following information will be displayed: Cutter radius, number of used torches, compensation (system and control).
* PUNCH: The following information will be displayed: used punch, used station, punch angle, and active multiool.
* Lantek Expert permits to design a machine grid to be simulated while machining.
The system will use this geometry and besides simulate it, checks the stability of the cut parts laid on the defined grid and warns the user if there is any potential problem.
* Lantek Expert allows to define a name and a colour for each one of the 12 available cutting qualities.
The names and colors assigned by configuration will be displayed while selecting, editing and cutting simulation.
* Lantek Expert calculates the nesting yield and the efficiency of the nested sheets, those sheets which yield is not bigger than the minimum efficiency to be considered as good enough will be deleted and recalculated.
