Sheet metal CAD/CAM/ERP runs in multi-processors
Lantek has revised the architecture of its Lantek Expert II and Lantek Expert III sheet metal CAD/CAM/ERP software to run 30-40% faster in dual-core or quad-core processor computers.
o Speed of simulation can be modified with keys.
o X and Y head or turret coordinates are simulated.
o The operation is displayed (mark, cut, rapid, - ).
o CUT:.
The following information will be displayed:.
Cutter radius, number of used torches, compensation (system and control).
o PUNCH:.
The following information will be displayed:.
used punch, used station, punch angle, and active multitool.
- Lantek Expert permits the design of a machine grid to be simulated while machining.
The system will use this geometry and besides simulating it, checks the stability of the cut parts laid on the defined grid and warns the user if there is any potential problem.
- Lantek Expert allows the definition of a name and a color for each one of the 12 available cutting qualities.
The names and colors assigned by configuration will be displayed while selecting, editing and cutting simulation.
- Lantek Expert calculates the nesting yield and the efficiency of the nested sheets, those sheets whose yield is not bigger than the minimum efficiency to be considered as good enough will be deleted and recalculated.
