CAD/CAM modules designed for sheet/plate profiling
In CAD/CAM modules specially designed to automate the programming of sheet metal cutting machines, as the mouse is dragged to define a window, the nesting is generated instantly and automatically.
Software allows real time progress chasing
A system that provides integrated management of the whole production process in sheet metal manufacturing environments passes on information generated to manufacturing.
This is an optional module specifically designed to define parametric geometries in our existing CAD module, with the following options:.
* Possibility to easily turn an existing geometry into a parametric part by assigning as many variables as the user wants.
* Possibility to modify the dimensions of parts by directly entering the desired values into the defined variables.
- Possibility to rotate remnants.
All existing remnants can be rotated at steps of 90 degrees with respect to the X and Y axis.
This can also be done symmetrically.
- True Shape Nesting that guarantess a predefined material utilization percentage.
This new feature increases material utilization by optimizing the nesting process.
- The system optimizes the reasonable use of the necessary sheet formats.
- Configurability of the method to calculate part areas in order to improve material utilization.
The methods are:.
* Net : the sum of the real (net) area of the parts.
* Gross : the sum of the gross area of the parts.
* Rectangular: the sum of the area of the minimum rectangle that surrounds the geometry of a part.
- Configurability of the main direction of nesting.
Now the system allows the user to choose between a vertical or an horizontal direction for the nesting of parts.
