Advanced printer driver software avoids labels
Advanced printer driver software provides flexible code creation that allows impulse jet printers to allow easy, cost effective outer case coding rather than having to print onto labels.
Printer's self-cleaning head marks porous surfaces
Addressing a long standing industry need for high performance and reliability, a printer has a robust self-cleaning print head prints up to 70mm characters on paper sacks, cardboard and wood.
Linx will also be featuring products from the Xymark range of laser coders.
IJ600 breakthrough in outer case coding - Linx recently entered the outer case coding market with the introduction of the IJ600.
This new printer addresses a long standing industry need for high performance and reliability, together with low cost of ownership - a combination of attributes that is not fully achieved by current alternatives such as print and apply and Drop on Demand (DOD).
The pioneering new printer features a robust self-cleaning print head and IP65 rated stainless steel enclosure.
It has been designed with tough production environments in mind and is capable of printing large characters, images and barcodes up to 70mm high on to multi-wall paper sacks, cardboard, wood and any other porous surface.
The quality of print also allows variable data to be printed on to generic packaging, thereby replacing costly pre-printed bags or boxes.
Simon Powell, Marketing Manager said "The launch of the IJ600 illustrates our on-going commitment to understanding customer requirements and addressing these needs through successful product development.
We believe that the technology behind the IJ600 offers customers a single solution compared to alternative systems.
This reliable and robust printer represents a significant new departure in coding solutions for the outer case coding market".
6800 Spectrum - adding speed to pigmented ink jet printing Following last year's successful introduction of Linx Printing Technologies' high performance pigmented ink jet printer the Linx 6800 Spectrum, Linx has introduced a new print head for the Spectrum - the Ultima plus.
The key benefit of the Ultima plus is that it enables the Spectrum to achieve quality print at very high speeds using pigmented inks.
This is achieved through the new, purpose-designed fonts -enabling the Ultima plus to boast print speeds in excess of 7m/sec, as well as the print head nozzle, optimised for pigmented inks reducing the risk of blockages.
