Two-line printer "most hassle-free in its class"
A two-line, continuous ink-jet printer is easy to install and move from packaging line to line.
At this year's Total Processing and Packaging show at the NEC in Birmingham, Linx Printing Technologies will be exhibiting its exciting new two-line printer, the Linx 4900 Continuous Ink Jet (CIJ).
Linx will also be exhibiting its leading portfolio of laser and CIJ printers, including the recently launched Xymark 300SL compact scribing laser coder, Xymark 10S and VW50 laser coders, the Linx 6800 Spectrum CIJ printer, as well the Linx IJ600 impulse jet printer.
Visitors to the Linx stand (Number 4241) can also find out about the extensive range of Linx inks.
Simon Powell, Linx Marketing Manager, said: "We are delighted to participate at Total Processing and Packaging.
It gives us the ideal opportunity to demonstrate our full range of coding and marking solutions, as well as our commitment to producing reliable and cost effective products.
We are very excited to be introducing the new Linx 4900 CIJ this year, which sets the standard in the two-line printer market, and meets customers' needs in this area.
Ease of use and reliability, essential customers requirements and trademarks of all Linx printers, are naturally a feature of the new Linx printer." The new Linx 4900 CIJ printer, the most advanced two-line printer to date, has a striking appearance with its tough and curvaceous stainless steel enclosure.
The Linx 4900, which has an IP55 rating, looks good and is designed to ensure liquid runs easily off the printer.
In addition, there are no dirt traps, so it is ideal for food, pharmaceutical and washdown environments.
The simple menu-driven screens give fast access to all printer functions.
Other features include a full size keyboard, and WYSIWYG message display allowing messages to be created, selected, edited and printed right first time.
The printer can also store up to 50 messages.
Logos and graphics can be printed and there is a wide range of ready-to-use date, time, sequential number and shift coding formats to choose from.
The ink and solvent refilling system is unique to Linx and takes just seconds.
The Linx 4900, which does not require factory air to operate, has a quick and easy shut down and self-cleans during auto power down, making it the most user-friendly and hassle-free printer in its class.
Linx produces an extensive range of inks, many of which are recommended for use with the Linx 4900.
Linx inks are manufactured to the highest standard, and all inks come with a performance guarantee.
Linx has developed a range of five black inks as well as a host of specialist inks, enabling customers to select an ink that best fits their requirements.
The Linx Xymark 300SL provides a more compact and lightweight solution compared with the other industrial grade laser coders in the same class.
Based on state-of-the-art steered beam laser technology, the Xymark 300SL is suitable for a wide range of coding and marking applications on medium-speed production lines.
Key features of the Xymark 300SL include full alphanumeric, graphics and barcode printing capabilities, the ability to code onto paper, card, glass, PET, painted metal, laminated foil and polystyrene, a large scan area for text and graphics and the ability to print in any orientation with a combined weight (laser + interface) of only 22kg.
The Linx 4900 Continuous Ink Jet (CIJ), according to the manufacturer, sets the standard in the two-line printer market.
It is also easy to install and move from line to line.
Also on show will be the Xymark 10S and VW50, further demonstrating Linx's expertise in the laser coding market.
The Linx IJ600 impulse jet printer for high quality outer case coding was designed with tough production environments in mind and includes a fully automated cleaning capability.
The IJ600 can print high-resolution large and small characters, logos and barcodes, all at up to 70mm high onto cartons, cardboard, multi-wall paper sacks, and many other porous surfaces.
Linx illustrating its lead in pigmented ink jet printing with the Linx 6800 Spectrum Linx has addressed the market requirement for a high performance pigmented ink jet printer with the Linx 6800 Spectrum.
The unit is available with a range of pigmented inks: Linx White pigmented ink 1059, Linx Brilliant White 1305, Linx Yellow pigmented ink 1039, and Linx Black pigmented ink 1009.
This combination of machine and inks is ideal for a comprehensive range of applications, in particular cabling and extrusions.
The White pigmented and Yellow pigmented inks are particularly relevant for dark closures on food and beverage products and dark-coloured industrial/electrical components where strong ink-substrate contrast is essential.
