Ultrasonic air-leak detector's cost
repaid tenfold
Portable ultrasonic air-leak detector can repay its initial cost tenfold, in a very short period of time, and saves substantial in-house energy savings.
Logis-Tech Associates describes its EP641 ultrasonic air-leak detector as a basic necessity for all manufacturing facilities that uses compressed-air This portable, easy to use, hand-held tool can repay its initial cost tenfold, in a very short period of time, and saves substantial in-house energy savings

Check for air leaks and save energy costs
Wasted energy in compressed air is quite common. It is therefore sensible to continuously inspect the company's air, vacuum or gas installations on a frequent basis.
Qualify to HNC standard in your spare time
A technical training operation provides a service for those who are unable to attend college on either a full-time or part-time basis for HNC engineering courses.
As stated by Hugo Gallagher, Managing Director of Logis-Tech Associates, " it is in every company's interest to reduce operating plant costs and thus optimise company profits".
This ultrasonic air leak detector makes use of a newly-developed digital technology, where the ultrasound (20-100kHz) produced by a compressed air leak, is transformed into a digital signal that the user can see and hear.
The EP641 detector responds by a flashing light and a pulsating sound.
The faster the light flashes/the sound pulsates, the closer the EP641 detector unit is to the leak.
The speed of the light flashing/sound pulsating is also an expression of the size of the leak (The faster the light flashing/sound pulsating, the bigger the leak).
The EP641 detector comes complete with three directional probes, in case of massive ultrasonic sounds in the surroundings, the 1-3 directional probes (3 x 19cm long) can be simply attached to the sensor at the top of the instrument, and optimum listening-sensitivity is achieved.
These directional probes are also used for the separation of close-set leakages and for leak detection at a distance.
The EP641 Ultrasonic leak detector can also be used for leaks in steam traps, vacuums, etc A easy to use hand tool that all plant maintenance personnel should be using in reducing costs and maximising profits. Request a free brochure from Logis-Tech Associates ...
