Microcomputer Principles Logis-Tech Associates, sub division A-1 Technical Training now deliver a Higher National module, (nationally recognised SQA certified short course) "Microcomputer Principles" by distance learning This module covers:
a Semiconductor logic families.
b Semiconductor memories.
c Codes.
d Error detection and correction.
e Subroutines and interrupts.
f Programmable interfaces.
g Serial and parallel buses.
h Serial synchronous protocols.
This unit involves some practical work, which will need hardware and is supplied by A-1 Technical Training.
A very worthwhile module aimed at technican/engineer/supervisor level and is worth 1 credit.
This credit can be used towards an HNC in Electrical, Electronics, Multidiscipline, Mechanical, Instrumentation and Chemical Process Engineering.
