Advanced forming processes shape powders
Celebrating its 85th Anniversary, a German press builder has continually revolutionised the shaping of powdered ceramics, metals, and plastics, using advanced isostatic presses and extruders.
Loomis has been revolutionising the pressing industry for the shaping of powdered ceramics, metals, and plastics for 85 years The company started with the production of platen presses in 1917, moved to the manufacture of isostatic dry bag spark plug presses in 1938

In 1985, the first isostatic dry bag press was built with the triple filling system.
In 2002 the first automatic dry bag press to fully automatically fill, press and unload a T shape was brought into production.
Today, the engineers at Loomis continue to look for ways to improve our equipment for the industry.
Sales, service, manufacturing, design and research and development are serviced by two Loomis locations; in Levittown Pa, USA and Rodenbach, Germany.
Our services have also grown over the years.
Loomis now also designs and manufactures tools and services or upgrades both, isostatic presses and extrusion presses, regardless of the press manufacturer.
Loomis's ability to custom manufacture equipment to meet the needs of our clients has made us a world leader in the pressing industry.
