Potting machine uses abrasives resistant pump

Using a rotary pump design, a machine for filter end cap potting has no gears to wear and is resistant to abrasive fillers. Touch pad programming sets mix ratio and flow rates.

Liquid Control Decker introduces the Decker DL3-PC machine for filter end cap potting.

The DL3-PC utilizes a Posiflow rotary pump design which has no gears to wear and is resistant to abrasive fillers.

Both pumps are driven by brushless AC motors.

A key feature is touch pad programming of mix ratio and flow rates.

The process can be password protected preventing unauthorized tampering with critical settings on the machine.

A variety of feed systems are available and include features such as high and low material level sensors.

Since there are no hazardous solvents required for flushing of mixers, hazardous solvent disposal problems are eliminated.

A Twinmixer mix head, which includes a Posimixer disposable motionless mixer or Paradyne disposable dynamic mixer both incorporating a no drip snuff back, can be selected.

Volumetric ratio ranges of the DL3-PC are 1:1 to over 20:1 depending on the pump selection.

Flow rates on the machine range from 1cc to 80cc/sec., depending on material properties.
