Multi-junction pulsed laser diodes
Laser Components has introduced a range of multi-junction pulsed laser diodes - from 12W to 210W, to meet growing demand.
The variety of multi-junction pulsed laser diodes (PLDs) manufactured by Laser Components, Canada, has increased in order to meet numerous market demands.
Laser Components' Nanostack laser technology at 905nm includes several epitaxially integrated emitters.
Through stacking peak output power levels between 70W and 210W can be achieved.
These PLDs are optimised for applications such as Ceilometers or LIDAR, in which long distances (>> 1km) are measured.
For shorter distances, this technology is also available with a 75um emitter.
On account of the smaller emitting area, the output power (12W) can be more easily coupled into a fibre and combined with micro-optics.
