Lista UK has a range of electronically secure storage units based on simple numeric codes or software controlled entry which are suitable for tools and instruments.

As the specialist manufacture of electronically secure storage units - ideal for tools and instruments - Lista has developed several options of clever and practical locking systems to suit varied needs - and all backed by proven Swiss experience and quality All of these prevent unauthorised access to contents, and save the time and cost of lost or damaged conventional keys

The choices range across keys replaced by simple numeric codes to software controlled entry to a single drawer or group of cabinets.

All of the Lista systems have been designed for efficiency, flexibility and easy and safe operation - and they can used with a permutation of drawer, hinged - door and filing cabinets.

Smart Lock utilises a keyboard and a four to six digit code - the cabinet is opened and closed by virtue of a rotary handle.

Up to 20 different user codes can be issued, with a master code to always guarantee access.

Smartlock incorporates its own battery supply to insure independent operation, and is ideal for drawer cabinets.

In turn, the mains based e-Lock system offers a basic programmable control via a hand-held radio transmitter and can link up to 6 cabinets.

The e-Lock Connecto variation can either be unlocked with a current method such as a badge or U-Key, for all types of cabinets, or with a PC and software especially for drawer cabinets and separate drawers.

Lista e-Lock can cover up to 10 cabinets.

This system also provides documented activity at each cabinet, and is also ideal - for example - to protect sensitive documents or medicines as well as industrial items .

Two other formats to note are Traka and Barcode Access.

The Traka version utilises an iFob key which is accessed in its dedicated cupboard with a card or biometrics reader.

Taking the key identifies the user and there are set limits as regards the time taken and choice of tools.

Expiry time automatically locks the cabinet, ensuring return of the iFob and creating a total audit of the cabinet's history.

The Barcode variation simply involves a swipe card, which is programmed with a PC or PDA for the noted user.

After removal of the selected tools and closure of the last drawer the cabinet automatically locks to prevent misuse.

Again this technology provides a written history, and the Barcode option is also suitable for storage lockers.
