The Lumetrics DI 330 Optical Thickness and Surface Measurement Solution provides extremely accurate and rapid measurements of single and multi-layer surfaces.
The Lumetrics DI 330 Optical Thickness and Surface Measurement Solution provides extremely accurate and rapid measurements of single and multi-layer surfaces.
The Dual Interferometer (DI) engine combines an internal laser, with a Light Emitting Diode (LED) to perform measurements of thickness, position, or material analysis.
The DI 330 is comprised of components, which can be located remote from each other, including fiber optic probes and cable that can be adapted for any environment to provide complete system flexibility.
The design includes a closed fiber loop, with piezo electric fiber stretchers instead of free space optics, to deliver accuracy of 200 nm and resolution of 30 nm over a measurement range of 12 microns to 5 mm and a sampling speed of 100 Hz.
Designs are in place that increase the speed into the KHz range.
The DI 330 is extremely flexible in its functionality and markets.
It measures thicknesses of multilayer plastics in a single online view, measures adhesives, coatings, and laminates, and performs surface mapping on objects such as aspheres, spheres, or digital imagers.
It can be used for a multitude of industries including film and sheet plastics, packaging, electronics, optics, and test and measurement.
