An agricultural equipment manufacturer is anticipating savings of GBP 20,000 a year following its purchase of a 2200kN, 4000mm press brake to improve working tolerances and capacity.

Mostly components will be produced from mild steel with some stainless, aluminium and high tensile materials in batches that vary between 10 and 100 parts.
NC Agricultural Engineering produces specialised manure handling machines, road sweepers, diggers and trailers used by the road construction industry.
While some 70 per cent of its business is derived in the UK and Republic of Ireland, 20 per cent comes from North America and the rest from Belgium, Holland, Denmark and the Middle East.
With a workforce of 80 and a turnover rising above GBP 5 million, NC Agricultural Engineering has over 50 machines on its shopfloor which include, CNC welders, plasma machines, lathes and gas profile burners.
