Electronics ensure accurate pressbrake
working
Latest 4- and 5-axis CNC servo-controlled press brakes use state-of-the-art hydraulics and electronics to ensure accurate control of the bending process.
LVD introduces a new series of economical PPEC press brakes featuring the exclusive CADMAN Express CNC control The PPEC Series offers LVD's proven bending technology in a cost-efficient, easy-to-use design for forming applications that do not require advanced capabilities

Turret punch press suits OEMs and subbies
Following extensive world-wide market research involving the future demands of both OEMs and sheet metal subcontractors, LVD/Strippit has developed the Global 20 CNC turret punch press.
PPEC precision hydraulic press brakes are offered in a four-axis and five-axis configuration.
The five-axis design is equipped with a CNC controlled crowning system, which ensures the ram and table are parallel during the bending operation.
PPEC press brakes are available in capacities from 800 to 2200kN with working lengths from 2000 to 4270mm.

Laser moves opportunities forward
Precision sub-contractor's CNC laser cutting system purchase allows it cut 2500 by 1250mm mild steel sheet up 16mm thick, SS up to 6mm and aluminium up to 5mm in thickness.
PPEC press brakes are a welded one-piece frame, stress relieved after welding and machined without repositioning to guarantee machine precision.
Hydraulic cylinders are machined from a solid steel billet.
Pistons are steel forgings, precision ground and micropolished for long production life.
These servo-controlled press brakes use state-of-the-art hydraulics and electronics to ensure accurate control of the bending process.
Double bed referenced encoders are connected to the bed in such a way that deformation of the side frames during bending does not influence the positioning accuracy of the upper beam (Y1-Y2) +/-0.01mm (+/-0.004in).
A solid two-axis backgauge allows depth (X-axis) and height (R-axis) positioning of the two standard backgauge fingers.
Pre-stressing on the guiding keeps the fingers in position.
The standard PPEC backgauge fingers with three gauge positions allow gauging to 1000mm and also serve as material supports.
PPEC press brakes are equipped with the CADMAN Express control, a Windows NT based system founded on the same powerful yet user-friendly design of LVD's popular CADMAN CNC controller.
The control features an Intel Pentium microprocessor, 20GB hard disk drive, CD ROM and 12in TFT screen.
It simplifies the programming process by requiring a limited input of data, allowing programming to be quickly and easily accomplished at the machine.
CADMAN Express provides a number of automatic features, including automatic calculation of bend allowance, automatic selection of tools based only on material thickness, and automatic calculation of lower dead point (Y-stroke).
It features graphical representation of tools, program overview in editor mode and in production mode, graphical representation of tools and backgauge in production mode, and an easy method for adjusting correction angle and correction of bend allowance.
PPEC press brakes are designed to accept Universal-, Vertical or LVD-style tooling.
LVD is a leading manufacturer of metalforming equipment, including turret punch presses, laser cutting machines, press brakes, guillotine shears, press brake tooling, and programming software.
