Lyndex-Nikken has announced that a complete series of live tools for Nakamura Tome are now available in stock.
Designed to enhance the performance of a CNC lathe, Lyndex-Nikken offers a variety of live tools.
According to the company, these highly precise and rigid tools improve milling, drilling and tapping capabilities in turning operations.
Lyndex-Nikken stocks a range of standardised live tools for CNC turning centres from Nakamura Tome, Okuma, Mazak, Mori Seiki, Sauter and all other major builders.
The live tool offering includes high-speed tooling, coolant feed-through tools, axial tools, radial tools, dual-output radial tools and universal tools.
Straight and offset units, modular quick-change systems and tapping quick-change holders are also available.
Many models are lightweight and compact.
Lyndex-Nikken live tools are claimed to include optimised gears for ultra-smooth operation.
Other advantages include the lifetime lubrication of bearings, high torque transmission, internal coolant up to 70bar and length adjustment.
Parts inventory, maintenance and repair and rebuild services are available through Lyndex-Nikken.
