Raise food factory productivity, profitability

A Marco product story
Edited by the Manufacturingtalk editorial team Nov 14, 2005

Exhibition stand at the Foodex exhibition will show a virtual factory to show how food processing plants should operate to ensure optimum productivity and profitability.

Marco Weighing Systems are using the upcoming 2006 Foodex Exhibition to consolidate their leading market position as designers and suppliers of factory wide production optimisation systems.

Stand BM79 will be laid out as a virtual factory where visitors will be able experience the Marco 'vision' of how food processing plants should operate to ensure optimum productivity and profitability.

The exhibit will feature the company's versatile DataMaster workstations, LineMaster portion control scales and TRACIT- MES software.

Visitors can 'experience' working areas such as Goods In, Low and High Prep right through to Despatch.

Each department will have fully functioning equipment demonstrating how their systems optimise performance in the areas of stock control, portion control, recipe formulation, traceability and much more.

There will also be a 'jargon busting desk' where Marco representatives will unravel the myths behind acronyms such as MES, OEE, AO, KPI and APQ, showing how correct implementation of Marco Systems can bring amazingly rapid ROI! And if visitors are just looking for weighing scales then part of the stand will be dedicated to Marco's extensive range of high quality products including floor, bench, counting and retail scales.
