As a development partner and supplier of clutches and shock absorbers, Sachs will accompany Toyota in its Formula One debut.
"Sachs Race Engineering," a commercial division of the Sachs Group, has demonstrated its expertise in the field on numerous occasions.
Several Formula One teams rely on the know-how of the shock absorber and clutch specialist.
Not only Ferrari, but also Jordan, Sauber, Minardi, and Prost race for F 1 World Championship points using Sachs components.
At the signing of the contract with Toyota, Olaf Schwaier, the managing director of Sachs Race Engineering, stated that "it is both a great honour and a major responsibility for us to work together with one of the world's largest and most renowned automobile manufacturers and to accompany its high-profile entry into the highest level of motor racing." .
