Dennis Chung is the new process and quality engineer at Magnequench in Rotherham, UK base of the international permanent magnet manufacturer Magnequench.

Dennis Chung is the new process and quality engineer at Magnequench in Rotherham, UK base of the international permanent magnet manufacturer Magnequench He succeeds Dr Greg Heydon, who has taken on a new assignment as vice-president of engineering at the company's plant in Tianjin, China, where powders for rare earth magnets are produced

Malaysian by birth and of Chinese descent, Dennis Chung is fluent in both Cantonese and Mandarin.

His initial experience has been in manufacturing, with the emphasis on continuous improvement projects.

He recently graduated from Bradford University with a first-class degree in industrial engineering, and was awarded a prize for outstanding achievement in his final-year project.
