The company is the UK division of permanent magnet manufacturer Magnequench, which has operations in North America, Europe and Asia.
Greg's previous experience has been in electronics; initially with a distributor, and for the last 15 years as senior product manager at components manufacturer Wearnes Cambion in Castleton, Derbyshire.
His brief is to maintain the recent growth in sales of the custom-built assemblies using sintered neodymium-iron-boron magnets in which the Rotherham plant specialises.
The company recently made a five-figure investment in additional equipment to satisfy the growing demand.
