Visualisation software provided at zero cost

Matrikon plans to release the freely downloadable Operational Insight Lite, a software tool designed to acquire, display, and analyse OPC data.

Matrikon, the world's leader in information visualization technology, is pleased to announce the upcoming release of Matrikon Operational Insight Lite, a software tool to acquire, display, and analyse OPC data.

It includes the ability to access both real-time and historical data.

Matrikon Operational Insight Lite is based on ProcessNet, Matrikon's award-winning visualization and Decision Support Software (DSS).

Matrikon Operational Insight Lite enables operations, engineering, and maintenance personnel to view insightful trends, process graphics and KPI dashboards from their desktop PCs.

Matrikon Operational Insight Lite will be available for download from Matrikon's web site at no cost.

"People must often provide a business case to justify expensive tools to management, even to resolve simple questions," said Pablo Asiron, Matrikon Operational Insight product manager.

Matrikon Operational Insight Lite will be available for a limited number of Beta users by mid February, 2007.

The final release is due in April 2007, when it will be available as a no-cost download from the Matrikon Web site.
