MTI Live, the UK's only exhibition for used machine tools, ancillary products and equipment, has signed up more big names from the world of high quality used machines.

MTI Live, the UK's only exhibition for used machine tools, ancillary products and equipment, has signed up more big names from the world of high quality used machines C Dugard and RPA have confirmed their appearance at the show, being held on 13-14 September 2006 at Stoneleigh Park, near Coventry, UK

At the inaugural MTI Live last year, Dugard reported well over 20 high quality enquiries from the show, a number of which were subsequently converted to orders.

Founded in the 1930s, C Dugard employs 50 people across its three sites: the 30,000ft2 company headquarters at Hove; the Dugard Technical Centre at Leamington Spa; and its satellite showroom in Glasgow.

Today Dugard has a turnover in the region of GBP 13m, of which approximately 10% can be attributed to used machines.

As the company actively markets itself as a 'one stop shop' it allows customers to trade-in their old machines when buying new.

This in turn means there is always a wide selection of used machine tools in stock, particularly CNC turning and milling machines.

In fact the company claims to be one of the largest machine tool stockists in Europe.

All used machines sold by Dugard go through rigorous, documented inspection prior to despatch.

RPA is also returning to MTI Live for the second time, following a successful event last year.

With an established reputation in the provision of sheet metal equipment, solid forming and minting through to processes such as hydroforming, laser and plastics technology, RPA has worked to create a company trusted by the whole market since its inception in 1990.

The company specialises in buying used CNC machines, stripping them to the bare frames and rebuilding them 'as new'.

MTI live is an event unique to the UK, offering visitors and exhibitors the opportunity to buy and sell used machinery, network and swap ideas all under one roof.

Supported by a global marketing campaign designed to attract the highest quality exhibitors and visitors from all disciplines of manufacturing, the success of MTI live is assured.

A generous standard package is available to potential exhibitors along with competitive prices and flexible payment terms.

However, with stands rapidly being purchased and reserved, potential exhibitors are advised to act sooner rather than later to avoid disappointment.
