To help users ensure that they are running the latest software, GSA 8.1 implements a new version checking system that rapidly delivers bug fixes and minor enhancements to the users.
To help users ensure that they are running the latest software, GSA 8.1 implements a new version checking system that rapidly delivers bug fixes and minor enhancements to the users.
This compares each GSA 8.1 executable file installed locally with the set that Oasys identifies as being the 'current versions'.
Version Checking transmits no data to Oasys because it compares the files locally, highlighting any updates that are available for download from the Oasys website.
These updates come as "patches" or as a complete installation.
The online Change Log records all changes, so you always know what they are.
All future releases of Oasys engineering programs will employ this version checking system.
