Cleaner machine tools, prolonged coolant life and lower operating costs are the three main benefits of switching to TRIM C270 synthetic coolant.
The XYBEX recycling plant has just been installed at the Blyth factory, one of 40 Draeger sites worldwide.
This factory is responsible for the design and manufacture of compressed air breathing equipment and fixed gas detection system controllers.
The purchase of the XYBEX was in line with Draeger's commitment to EN14001certification but as Steve Layton, Production Manager confirms, "It will also significantly reduce our overheads as we plan to reclaim all coolant and tramp oil." The new plant will serve every CNC turning machine and machining centre on site.
"Naturally we investigated other recycling systems but the XYBEX was the only one to meet our requirements exactly," Layton concluded.
"The payback time period was also very attractive.".
