In line with other European countries the costs involved in the disposal of industrial fluid waste are rising in Poland, so Polish company, Azoterm, has teamed up with Master Chemical Europe.

In line with other European countries the costs involved in the disposal of industrial fluid waste are rising in Poland.

Polish manufacturers are therefore putting greater emphasis on quality machine tool coolants that have a long sump life and are easily recyclable without loss of efficacy.

By teaming up with Master Chemical Europe new company Azoterm is now able to provide the coolants that meet this need in Poland and the technical expertise to optimise their use and reuse.

Having recently completed his training programme at Master Chemical's headquarters in Needham Market, managing director of Azoterm, Jan Cieszkowski, is now seeking to build on coolant and wash fluid supply to provide a complete metalworking service that includes waste management and recycling.

The company is responsible for the TRIM range of soluble oils, semi-synthetics, wash fluids and equipment.

Although a new company, Azoterm is part of an established production engineering group that also contains a manufacturer of small machining centres.

"This provides great opportunity for us to share technical and market knowledge," explained Master Chemical's district manager - Europe, Jim Fanshawe.

"There is a huge amount of investment in Poland at the moment and I'm sure this will become a key market for us in our European development." Azoterm has already won new contracts and has several product trials scheduled.

And with a view to building on this encouraging start the company is looking to appoint a new salesman in late Spring.

Equipment sales have already been reported including several Scrounger Junior Oil Skimmers.
