PLC programming software, which has been improved with a more user-friendly interface, offers programmers significant time-savings and flexibility.
Matsushita's NAiS Control FPWIN Pro PLC programming software has been improved with the release of version 5.
Resulting from many years of experience, the new Microsoft Windows based version supports all five recognised PLC programming languages in a single software package.
Moreover, the FPWIN Pro5 presents the programmer with the ability to write and create their own functions and function blocks, resulting in considerable time-savings when faced with replication of code and its reuse in other applications.
In addition, FPWIN Pro5 boasts a standard library of function blocks developed for various applications including PSTN and GSM Modem Communications, PROFIBUS and Ethernet Networks.
The new graphical user interface provides an enhanced environment for program structure and modularity, whilst improved definition of data types ensures that fewer errors occur.
Compliant with the internationally accepted IEC61131-3 standard, the complete FPWIN Pro5 kit includes Instruction List (IL), Ladder Diagram (LD), Function Block Diagram (FBD), Sequential, Function Chart (SFC) and Structured Text (ST) - the five programming languages.
Furthermore, the package supports six languages including English, German, French, Italian, Spanish and Japanese.
Whilst stocks last, a limited compilation version demo disc is available, enabling the user to write and compile code for the complete range of Matsushita's NAiS PLC products.
This version offers an online step-by-step PowerPoint presentation taking the first-time user through the various stages of writing an application.
The disc also includes evaluation programs of the HMI software, OPC Server software and an Excel-based data monitoring tool.
