Three SYSPRO ERP users shortlisted for
awards
SYSPRO ERP system users, CommaTECH, Boss Design and Smurfit UK have all been shortlisted for the 2006 Best of British Manufacturing IT Awards run by 'Manufacturing Computer Solutions'.
Organised by Manufacturing Computer Solutions Magazine, the annual Best of British Manufacturing IT challenge is aimed at recognising the very best IT strategies and implementations in British manufacturing industry Projects are to be assessed by a senior independent panel of judges, including consultants, analysts, practitioners and serving operations directors

This year, three customers of McGuffie Brunton, the world's largest vendor of SYSPRO manufacturing, distribution and financial systems, have made it through to the shortlists of two key categories.
Aerospace engineering firm, CommaTECH has been shortlisted in the Manufacturing Business Management section, while office chair designer and manufacturer, Boss Design, together with Smurfit, a leading packaging supplier and CommaTECH and have been selected in the Supply Chain Management category.
McGuffie Brunton, which implements SYSPRO ERP solutions for SME companies nationwide, is delighted many of its customers are making full use of their IT and that SYSPRO is helping them to make tough business decisions and achieve growth.
"There is so much depth and flexibility with SYSPRO that firms really can make dynamic changes to their business, and do the things that they have not done before in order to improve their processes and move them ahead of their competitors," commented Howard Joseph, sales director for McGuffie Brunton.
For the 2005 Best of British Manufacturing IT Awards, McGuffie customers, AMOT and Bendalls Engineering were highly commended in the Business Management category.
