McGuffie Brunton has won more than 600,000 GBP worth of orders for its Syspro-based manufacturing, financial and distribution systems over the past two months

Integrated business systems provider, McGuffie Brunton has won more than 600,000 GBP worth of orders for its Syspro-based manufacturing, financial and distribution systems over the past two months.

Substantial orders have been received from leading bakeware company, George Wilkinson; WRS, which supplies welding equipment; Groupco, which distributes window and door handles, bolts and hinges - and Millbrook Industries, a major manufacturer of household name Millbrook Beds.

Salford-Quays based McGuffie Brunton believes a key contributor to its sales success has been the need for manufacturers and distributors, to invest in enterprise wide IT systems to help them meet and beat overseas competition.

Syspro is built on e.net architecture that enables UK manufacturing and distribution firms to adapt the software to their way of working, and without have to buy a totally bespoke system.

Apart from being versatile and flexible, the latest Syspro systems offer powerful applications for manufacturing, warehouse, HR and customer relationship functions, that many customers are saving on inventory costs, improving their manufacturing capabilities and, in some cases, using the system's capabilities to further increase business.

Howard Joseph, Sales Director of McGuffie Brunton, commented: "One customer that installed Syspro won the Works Management and Cranfield School of Management 2005 Best Factory Award for most improved manufacturer and cited Syspro as one of the key factors in helping them achieve this.".
