Crankcase relief with venting valve
When properly maintained and mounted on the crankcase access door, the Bicera valve vents quickly and then reseats to prevent air from entering the crankcase.
Overheated bearings, damaged pistons, electrical ignition or other sources igniting oil mist present in the crankcase can cause crankcase explosions When properly maintained and mounted on the crankcase access door, the Bicera valve vents quickly and then reseats to prevent air from entering crankcase and that protects against secondary explosions
