Sheet metalworking show attracts 1375
exhibitors

Europe's leading sheet metalworking exhibition - EuroBLECH 2006 - will have 1375 exhibitors from 40 countries, including more from Eastern Europe, in an exhibition area of 75,000m2.

When EuroBLECH opens its doors October 24-28, 2006, the leading exhibition for this industry sector will again be the meeting point for everyone involved in sheet metal working Currently 1375 exhibitors from 40 countries have booked their stands, covering 98% of the exhibition area within seven halls

This year's exhibition will be bigger than ever, with more exhibitors covering an extended exhibition area of 75,000m2 net.

Compared to the previous show, where 1332 companies from 31 countries displayed their products and services, there is a clear trend towards more international exhibitors.

The presence of Eastern European companies is much higher this time.

While many took part for the first time in 2004, Eastern Europe is now well positioned at the show.

EuroBLECH 2006 also shows above-average growth rates in exhibitors from Asia, particularly from China and Taiwan, as well as from the US.

Regarding Western Europe, there is further growth in Italian and Scandinavian participants.

Representing some 57% of the total exhibitors, Germany again is the largest of the exhibiting countries.

Regarding visitors, the organisers, Mack Brooks Exhibitions, again expect a very high response, with even more participation from abroad.

Some 61000 visitors from 55 countries came to EuroBLECH in 2004.

Extensive parking areas are situated directly at the exhibition grounds.

The train station 'Hannover Laatzen' is directly linked with entrance 'West 1' via 'Skywalk West'.

In addition to regional trains, high speed ICE-trains stop at this station during exhibitions.

From the airport, there is a regular shuttle bus.

From the city centre, tram lines stop at entrance 'Nord' which is linked by a free shuttle bus with all other entrances.

An additional entrance, Ost 3, will be opened for EuroBLECH 2006: The exhibition grounds can now be entered from entrance Sud 1 (hall 11), West 1 (hall 13), West 2 (hall 27) and Ost 3 (halls 14, 15, 16 and Convention Center CC).

'Skywalk Sud', linking the parking grounds directly with entrance Ost 3, will also be open for the first time during EuroBLECH 2006.
