EuroBLECH sheet metal work show excites
On the last day of the EuroBLECH 2006, 19th International Sheet Metal Working Technology Exhibition, the organisers reported 64,353 trade visitors.

Traditionally famous for practical demonstrations of machinery and systems, EuroBLECH 2006 featured an even larger number of live machine displays.
For the first time the event covered an exhibition area of 76,000m2 net in seven halls and attracted 64,353 trade visitors.
This is a record result for the world's largest international exhibition for sheet metal working.
The show organisers, Mack Brooks Exhibitions, were particularly satisfied with a 25% increase in foreign visitors.
The number of visitors from all over Europe, and particularly from Eastern Europe, has grown substantially.
The number of visitors coming from Asia has also doubled since the previous event in 2004.
All visitors were very satisfied with the comprehensive range of products on offer and with the international flavour of the show.
The exhibitors also considered EuroBLECH 2006 to be an unprecedented success.
The general atmosphere in this industry is very positive.
According to exhibitors, the current economic situation in the sheet metal working industry has substantially improved over the last two years.
There was lively trading activity in the halls and the mood was buoyant.
Large increases in new business contacts and sales activities have been reported by the exhibitors.
Overall, the exhibition results were even better than in previous years.
It is therefore not surprising that three quarters of the exhibitors are already planning to participate at EuroBLECH 2008 which will be held from 21st to 25th October 2008 in Hanover.
