McLaren Software, a leading independent software vendor specializing in engineering content management applications, has announced the addition of Mike Jones to the McLaren management team as Vice President of Marketing.
At McLaren, he will direct all outbound communication for current and upcoming products.
His key objective is to elevate the company's market presence through targeted marketing initiatives that will educate organisations on the necessity and value of purpose built applications for managing critical engineering content across an enterprise.

He joins McLaren from Citadel Security Software, where he was Vice President of Marketing.
During his tenure at Citadel the company grew from $5.6 million to over $15 million in annual revenue and was recognized through numerous awards as an industry leading security software vendor.
Prior to Citadel, he was Vice President of Product Marketing for ASG Software where he led all product marketing programs including the release-to-market strategy for all seven ASG product lines.
He has also held the position of Director of Product Marketing for BMC Software, where he managed all inbound marketing activities for their storage management product portfolio that generated in excess of $240 million in annual revenue.
