Technology partner program extended
McLaren Software has today announced that Informative Graphics Corporation has joined its technology partner program.
McLaren Software has today announced that Informative Graphics Corporation has joined its technology partner program.
With the demand for enterprise-wide content management applications increasing, this is a strategic move by McLaren to increase the choice of viewing and collaboration solutions customers can use with Enterprise Engineer.
This move creates a wider market opportunity for McLaren's content applications suite.
Informative Graphics Brava! visualization suite will be fully integrated with Enterprise Engineer to deliver users a unified view and collaboration solution that provides quick and easy viewing of CAD drawings and other content, without the authoring application, directly from the Enterprise Content Management (ECM) system.
Commenting on the addition of Informative Graphics' viewing platform, and the growing technology partner program, Tim Taylor, chief business development officer at McLaren Software said: "We welcome Informative Graphics as a new technology partner.
They have been very forward-looking with respect to their product focus and Brava provides an additional solid viewing platform for Enterprise Engineer." "This move further validates our position as the leading supplier of engineering content applications.
By increasing the number of proven technologies that integrate within our Enterprise Engineer suite, we are allowing more organizations the opportunity to access the benefits our products have to offer.
As platform standardization increases and organizations deploy applications to create more agile and effective business processes, it is important that we continue to bring in the best partners to ensure we provide our customers with powerful, integrated viewing applications that cater for engineering content," added Taylor.
McLaren Enterprise Engineer is an integrated suite of user configurable content management applications.
Enterprise Engineer provides a comprehensive solution to manage engineering content - documents and CAD drawings - and the business processes that use it, on a common Enterprise Content Management (ECM) platform.
McLaren Enterprise Engineer manages engineering content throughout an asset's lifecycle, providing an effective level of process and content integration between the enterprise and the world of engineering.
Globally, McLaren is actively seeking to recruit further technology partners for Enterprise Engineer.
