MCP to sell Toshiba injection moulders in Europe

Toshiba Machine (Europe) in Germany has appointed MCP Tooling Technologies as the European sales agent for all Toshiba Machine's electric and hydraulic injection moulding machines.

An agreement has been signed between Toshiba Machine (Europe), Germany (TME) and MCP Tooling Technologies (MCP), which appoints MCP as the European sales agent for all Toshiba Machine's injection moulding machines.

Under the terms of the agreement, with immediate effect, MCP will handle sales of Toshiba Machine's newest 200 - 8500kN (20 - 850 tonf) EC-NII series all-electric machines, the large and extra large ED series electric machines, as well as the company's small, medium-large and 'super-large' hydraulic machines.

The agreement reinforces TME's policy of using the distribution route to markets outside the Far East and makes good use of MCP's existing European sales network which is based in offices in the UK, Germany, France, Spain and Italy.

Customer support for Toshiba Machine in Europe will continue to be handled through TME's offices in Germany and the UK.

MCP already manufacture and supply its own range of compact injection moulding machines which are used throughout the world notably for the manufacture of medical devices and other parts with a shot weight of less than 12g.
