Materialise and Objet develop Magics for Objet
Materialise and Objet Geometries have entered into a cooperation agreement to develop 'Magics for Objet'
Materialise NV, world leader in software development for the rapid prototyping and manufacturing (RPandM) industry, and Objet Geometries, the world leader in ultra-thin layer photopolymer jetting, have entered into a cooperation agreement to develop 'Magics for Objet', a customised version of Materialise' Magics software specially tuned to the specific requirements of production on Objet RP equipment.
With its unrivalled expertise in rapid prototyping and CAD/CAM, Materialise is the ideal partner to provide software calibrated to Objet 3D printers.
Similarly, due to their exceptionally high quality, high versatility and ease of use, Objet systems are particularly well-suited to Magics' software capabilities for an optimal 3D printing process.
Magics for Objet is state-of-the-art software, enabling Objet users to prepare their entire build job as efficiently as possible and to address their Objet machines directly.
"This agreement will be of significant benefit to both Objet and Magics customers" says Amit Shvartz, VP Marketing of Objet.
"Objet is committed to offering its customers the best possible 3D printing equipment, giving them a competitive advantage by allowing them to produce highly accurate parts".
"Magics for Objet now includes all Objet-specific parameters, enabling our customers to enjoy efficiency and higher competitiveness, and enabling Magics customers an easy migration to Objet's advanced 3D printing environment".
"We are very pleased to be able to work together with Objet and provide such a solution" says Johan Pauwels, Materialise' International Software Sales Manager.
"We strongly believe this collaboration will offer several advantages to RP professionals".
"By using the Objet-specific version of Magics, file and platform preparation become extremely intuitive and user friendly processes, allowing Objet users to produce their models in the most optimal way".
