Menlo Worldwide's Singapore regional logistics hub serves as a central distribution and supply chain management services centre for Southeast Asia and the Asia- Pacific region.

Like all Menlo regional hubs, the Singapore centre consolidates various logistics and supply chain operations under a single roof, including warehousing, forwarding management, distribution management, information services and other value-added operations It is home to Menlo's South-East Asia Supply Chain Office and the company's regional headquarters

The ALPS, an extension of the Singapore Changi International Airport FTZ, was designed by three area government agencies to serve the needs of third-party logistics providers (3PLs) supporting the government's targeted services.

Menlo was the first 3PL to commence operations within ALPS in 2001.

Intelligently Source Supplies, Manage Inventory and Distribute Products The Singapore Regional Logistics Hub is ideally suited for customers requiring: - Reduced product turnaround times - Management of centralized parts inventory - Increased supply chain efficiency through express logistics programs, cross-docking and merging, and the flexibility of fully customised services such as configure-to-order and final assembly - A spare parts replenishment program to improve the responsiveness of Asia-Pacific customers - Transportation programs to meet Asia-Pacific express delivery requirements - A regional vendor hub to raise material supply chain efficiencies ALPS: Strategic Location optimises Customers' Supply Chains The Singapore Regional Logistics Hub is located in one of Asia's most pro-business economies and is home to both a skilled labour market and sophisticated logistics infrastructure.

The ALPS: - Sits along the Changi East Coast Road with direct links to the East Coast Parkway (ECP) and the Pan-Island Expressway (PIE) - Delivers direct access to airport cargo areas - Features travel times of under 90 minutes to the Changi and Loyang industrial parks, city centre, seaport, Malaysia causeway and Western Singapore Free Trade Zone (FTZ) Status = Flexibility, Efficiency and Savings By locating the Singapore Regional Logistics Hub at ALPS, Menlo operates in a Free Trade Zone (FTZ).

Due to its FTZ status, customers enjoy two key benefits: - Reduced costs by eliminating: Multiple custom entries (permits) and the associated brokerage charge per permit.
