Medical device testing services extended
Service provides accelerated ageing studies for medical packages, burst testing, dye penetration and visual inspection of seals for the packaging industry.
In addition to accelerated ageing studies for medical packages, MET provides burst testing (ASTM 1140-00), dye penetration (ASTM F1929) and visual inspection of seals (ASTM F1886-98) Our medical device testing services encompass physical testing for strength and function as well as leak and flow testing, all undertaken in our fully calibrated, ISO 9000-2000 compliant laboratory
MET has recently upgraded its leak testing equipment to incorporate Schreiner's Leak Test Computer technology.
This system permits data gathering at a user-defined sampling rate, allows tracking of package bursts with great accuracy and provides detailed information on product leak rates.
