Medical Engineering Technologies has signed a distribution deal with Protomed, based within the Faculty of Medicine in the University of Marseille, France, for medical device testing services.

Medical Engineering Technologies' (MET) comprehensive range of packaging validation services is now complemented by Protomed's unique selection of medical device bench testing facilities and programmes Protomed is based within the Faculty of Medicine in the University of Marseille, France

Their team are very experienced in problem-solving across a wide variety of products including: * Cardio-vascular devices, * Laparoscopic devices and instruments, * Orthopaedic products, * Surgical Implants.

Protomed have developed test equipment, such as the "Artificial Man" which features an extensive vascular tree that incorporates variable resistances and pulsatile flow.

They also have extensive product design experience using CAD, including some finely-tuned finite element analysis models for the world of orthopaedic implants.
